Humber Education Trust (HET)
What is the HET?
HET is a group of schools working in partnership to deliver the best possible educational experience and educational outcomes for our pupils. The schools that are working together are:

We already have a strong and effective partnership but we want to take this to the next level and form a Multi Academy Trust (MAT). We have chosen Humber Education Trust (HET) as the name for our new MAT and have designed a logo to show who we are and what we do.
Why are we creating HET?
Coming together into HET will mean we can plan and deliver learning and support for our children in closer collaboration and use our collective resources more effectively to get better value for money. We can also share our individual expertise and skills more easily and readily as we all strive for excellence.
How will HET be formed?
Some of the schools in the partnership are already academies and this means that they already have more freedoms and opportunities open to us. Others in the partnership have yet to become an academy and for these schools there will be a formal conversion process to academy status before joining HET. These processes are being managed by specialist project managers that we have engaged to help us convert and join the new MAT in an orderly and managed way.
Our vision and aims

We recognise that as every child needs different things to achieve the same end point, their full potential, so too do the schools that nurture and develop those children. One size does not fit all.
Our commitment stretches across the breadth of our community with children firmly at the heart of all that we do. We are outward looking, embracing links with other education providers and agencies as we all seek the best outcomes for children in our region.
We believe in innovative staff development opportunities at all levels, so that our teams enable our pupils and families to shine. We are passionate educators, both of ourselves and of others, prioritising resources to have the greatest impact, every minute of every day, on the children we serve.
