Parent were invited in to watch a teacher model good writing practice session, parent were encouraged to join in and work with their child in the session. Parents commented on how much they enjoyed participating in the session.

A writing session was held in year4/5 where parents were invited in to participate in good writing practice session, the parents enjoyed a hands on experience.

Parent came into school to watch the teacher present a model of good writing practice, the session was well attended and the parents enjoyed the session.

Year 1/2D held a writing session. Parents were invited into school to observe the teacher model a good practice writing sessions.

To celebrate Diwali we had a themed day with activities such as Bollywood dancing, creating Rangoli patterns and designed a mehndi hand henna using templates. Younger pupils made paper lanterns, designed and made Diwali cards. 

We are nearly there only a few more weeks to go, it's getting really exciting now.

Pupils were given the chance to participate in a Flex Dance session in the main hall. A tutor from the dance group taught the children some new dance moves.

We held another successful drop in session, this time for parents to experience one of our writing lessons. This was well attended and parents feed back was really interesting many saying they found it very enlightening.
