Safeguarding Children

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children.

We recognise that both staff members and our pupils have an important role to play in safeguarding the welfare of young people.

As a school we have consulted with Hull Safeguarding Children Board to write a comprehensive safeguarding policy to ensure that the welfare of the young people is always placed at the centre of our activities.

Our lead person for child protection is Mrs A Jackson (Designated Safeguarding Lead) and Mrs K Drinkall (Deputy Safeguarding Lead).
